Criminal_Appeal_ReviewIf you have been convicted or sentenced by either the Magistrates Court or the Crown Court and you feel that you have been treated unfairly or harshly then you no doubt will be considering an appeal.

We provide a fixed fee Criminal Appeal Review Service which will provide you with realistic advice on the

  • Procedure to appeal (including time limits)
  • Likely costs to be incurred
  • Chance of success taking into consideration any previous case law or Sentencing Guidelines applicable to your case, the paperwork used against you and your personal mitigation

Thereafter, if you decide to appeal we can provide full representation at court for a competitive rate, or under the Legal Aid Scheme if you are eligible.


TIMESCALES


FROM THE MAGISTRATES - You have 21 days from the date of your Sentence to Appeal to the Crown Court.

FROM THE CROWN COURT - If you are appealing a conviction, you have 28 days from the date of your Conviction to Appeal to the Court of Appeal.

If you are appealing a sentence, you have 28 days from the date of your Conviction to Appeal to the Court of Appeal.

WHAT WE NEED


All Prosecution/Police paperwork (If you had instructed previous solicitors we will need a signed authority from you to obtain papers from them if they are not in your possession)

Details of your personal circumstances

An accurate record of the sentence you received

Details of any previous legal representatives
