HOW TO REVOKE A WILL

There are various different ways of revoking your will.  These include the following:

MAKING A NEW WILL Making a new will has the automatic effect of revoking your old will.

DESTROYING YOUR CURRENT WILL If you physically destroy your will then that has the effect of revoking it.

DEED OF REVOCATION You could make a Deed of Revocation that legally revokes your will. We can supply a Deed of Revocation for you.

MARRIAGE OR CIVIL PARTNERSHIP If you get married or enter into a Civil Partnership then that will automatically revoke your will unless it is already stated in your will that you did not intend the marriage or civil partnership to revoke your will.

DIVORCE Does not revoke the will but prevents your ex spouse from receiving any benefit under the will or from acting as an executor.

YOU CHOOSE You make the important decisions during your lifetime about what happens to your possessions and estate. GO ON SORT IT OUT NOW.
